The film includes footage from the songs, poems and stories night held at the Lamb and Flag. The event was part of a range of activities linked to the exhibition. Residents of the Parish read stories and poems based on their relatives who were involved in WW1. These were later on show in the exhibition.  The event further animated the local history of Parish.

In addition to the songs, poems and stories night and exhibition, Parish residents and the local vicar, the Reverend David Ager held a ‘Service of Reflection’ on the nearby Village Green. The local Youth Club members dressed in typical WW! costumes and read out poems and stories.
